Chickie Rae Westcott-Geraldson, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Chickie loved to work on puzzles and help her fellow residents at Eastern Shore Rehab (Mercy Medical) where she spent her last five years. She loved the Lord and put Him first in her life. Chickie would tell everyone she met about her Lord and Savior. Her love for the Lord led her to raise her daughters in church and do many great things by being active in the church. She retired from Mobile Infirmary after working there for 17 years in the sterilization department.
Chickie is preceded in death by her husbands, Jerry Geraldson, Robert V. Westcott, and David H. Monroe.
She is survived by her four daughters, Joyce Monroe of Spanish Fort, Sandra J. Monroe of Spanish Fort, Diane Monroe (Rick) Detwiler of Fredericksburg, VA and Betty M. (Larry) Hill of Dallas, GA; son, Davey Monroe of Bayou La Batre; brother, Gene Cain of Columbus, GA; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Faith Family Fellowship Church, 7100 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Spanish Fort, AL 36527. Rev. Joel Faircloth will be officiating.
