Christine Rita Warren Sutton

Christine Rita Warren Sutton, 90, passed away Monday, June 10, 2002, at her home in Hitchcock, Texas.

She was born in Bell County and raised in Thorndale, Texas. She was the only child of Mr. and
Mrs. J.C. Warren. She was a resident of Hitchcock since 1950.

During WWII she was given an award from the president for being the only woman volunteer of the American Women Volunteer Service in Galveston County. She was a member
of Highlands Baptist Church in La Marque.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles Dallas Sutton.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her stepson Charles Sutton and family; her precious neighbors and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster with the Rev. Chuck Robberts officiating and under the direction of the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.

Memorials may be made to Highlands Baptist Church, 2908 Cedar Drive, La Marque, TX 77568.
