Mrs. Bemier, widow of Homer R. Bernier, died Monday, March 27, at Waterbury Extended Care Facility in Watertown. She was born July 31, 1902, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Bruno and Clara (Belanger) Tessier. She attended Nicolette Convent, CND, in Montreal, Canada, and Notre Dame Academy and Crosby High School in Waterbury. She was an active' volunteer for the American Red Cross during World War II, and was a member of the Masters Championship Bridge Association. She was a communicant of St. Anne Church.
She leaves two daughters, Claire B. Kenny and Mrs. Thomas (Jeanne) Derwin, both of Waterbury; two brothers, Franklyn Tessicr and Armand Tessicr, both of Naugatuck; a sister, Helen Oemke of Naugatuck; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
