Ann Gardner, 83, of Saginaw went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Azleland Memorial Park. Ann was born in Nutbush, Tenn. She met Larry, the love of her life, at a barbecue drive-in in Memphis and they were married soon after. Together, they raised three children. The many accomplishments of her children and grandchildren were a constant point of pride for her. Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the head of a large family spread across many states. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a fiery, strong-willed and affectionate matriarch whose influence will live forever in our memory of her. Though she rests now in Texas, her heart lies in Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Ohio, Missouri and Arkansas with her family members. Survivors: Her loving husband of 55 years, Larry Gardner; sons, Chuck Prince and Lloyd Gardner; daughter, Tina Walker; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous others.
