She was the widow of Charles Edward Gill and daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Archie Clay Monroe. Mrs. Gill was a former resident of Blacksburg, Va. where she served for a time as Executive Secretary of the Montgomery County Mental Health Association. She was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Women's College, a member of the American Association of University Women, Christ Episcopal Church, Blacksburg, and St. James's Episcopal Church, Richmond. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Monroe Gill and Salle Schlueter Gill of Radford; a grandson, Charles Monroe Gill; a sister, Alice Rebecca Monroe. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue, Richmond. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 1992 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, The Memorial Scholarship Fund of Randolph-Macon Women's College in Lynchburg or to the Montgomery County Mental Health Association in Blacksburg, Va.
