David Isom Adams was the husband of Nancy Susanne (Sapp) Adams. They were married 1846 in Pulaski Co MO. Their children: William Henry 1847, John Wesley 1848, Margarett Ann 1852, George Washington 1853, Levi Marion 1855, David Franklin 1858, Thomas Benjamin 1860, Delilah Jane 1861, Susan Ester 1866, and Althia Victoria 1868.

David was the son of William Adams. They came from Warren Co TN in 1840 with a neighbor, James H Jr Elam.

David, reportedly, is on the roll of the Western Cherokee Nation. The tribe is not recognized by the federal government. Considerable turmoil exist among the various factions of the tribe. Presently the rolls are said to be in the hands of a group that is incorporated in the State of TN. It is not clear exactly who has the rolls and when, if ever, they will be available to the public.
