Laurie Annie BAKER, daughter of William Holmes BAKER and Sarah Jane EWING, She was raised by grandparents Henry EWING. She married on 14 Dec 1898, Morristown, Kings Co., NS to Frederick Napoleon FITCH, Children: Howard Milton FITCH, Margaret Blanche FITCH, b. 20 Nov 1910 died in infancy, third child died in infancy 1899.

She was a member of the Lower Aylesford Baptist Church and the Women's Missionary Society, and was an active worker as long as her health permitted.

She had two sisters, Mrs. Sophia MARSHALL, South Williamston; Mrs. Edith BYTHERS, Millinocket, Maine; one brother Fred BAKER, Layfette, California.
