Robert O. Harmon
Robert O. Harmon, 82, of Oak Lawn, Il, died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Palliative Care Center in the VA Medical Center in Hampton, Va. Born on June 6, 1933 in Trimble County, Ky., he was the son of James and Lucy (Carter) Harmon. He served in the US Army. He enjoyed gardening, and watching Chicago Blackhawks hockey games.
He is survived by his six children, James Harmon of Naperville, Il., Doris Warren of Crete Il., Linda Higdon of Hampton, Va., Micheal Harmon of Ventura, Ca., Matthew Harmon of Edmonds, Wa., Karen Jimenez of Mansfield, Tx., his 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty King, of Madison, Ind. and Virginia Richmond, of Marriottsville, Md. and his brother Jerry Harmon, of Milton, Ky. Mr. Harmon was preceded in death by Barbara, his loving spouse of 58 years, his parents, three brothers, Earl, Donald, and Roger Harmon, and infant sister Thelma.
