He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brothers, Sammy Allen of Gonzales, LA and Gary Paul Allen of Brookhaven, MS; nieces, Bit Hall, Shellie Burgess, Jennifer Allen and Samantha Allen; nephews, Rusty Allen and Sammy Allen, Jr.; and best friends, Guy Pruden and Kenny Roberts.
