Elva May (Polly) Hosfiel, 86, of Maryville, MO, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 05, 2015, at her home in Maryville.

Polly was born on May 31, 1929, in Adair County, northeast of Kirksville, MO. Her parents were Earl Richard and Minnie Ruth (Adams) Archer. She was a former resident of Rockport, MO, and Coin, IA, before moving to Maryville 20 years ago. She was a Christian

She was married to Oscar Hosfiel, Jr, and he preceded her in death.

She was also preceded by 2 brothers, Laverne Archer, and Leon Archer

Her survivors include her son, Terry Lee Bomar, Dallas, TX, 2 daughters, Shirley Ann Metheny, Omaha, NE, and Christina Irene Jepson, St. Louis, MO; 4 grandchildren, Eric Madsen, Stacy Madsen, Sarah Jepson, and Andrew Jepson; 9 great grandchildren, Camdan Madsen, Brendan Madsen, Shelby Madsen, Ryland Madsen, Destini Ann Vail, Sara Elizabeth Jepson, Gavin Quijano, Levi Quiani, and Andrew Lawrence Jepson; and 3 sisters, Ruth Kooken, Mary Dow, and Lavon Smail.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home. The minister will be Pastor Paul McKim. The burial will follow in the Hunter Cemetery, Rockport, MO.
