GOLDTHWAITE — Roy Norman Hodges, 91, of Mullin, died Friday, July 3, 2015 in Mullin.
He was born Jan. 2, 1924 in the Democrat community to Edward P. Hodges and Cleo Hudson Hodges.
He married Era Maxine Kennedy on April 18, 1949 in Albany. He later married Charlene Scrivner Mosier. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a certified dental technician and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mullin.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Hodges of Mullin; son Michael Hodges and wife Jill of Comanche; daughter, Sherryl Fulton and husband Ken of Weatherford; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, June Roberts of Goldthwaite.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Era Maxine Kennedy Hodges; and a brother, Hudson Hodges.
