Frank Lonzo, an old settler of French descent, died last week.
He had come to Two Rivers in 1845 and lived here ever since
working as a fisherman, though he never became rich from it.
He leaves one son and 3 daughters, his wife having predeceased
him about 3 wks. ago. His funeral was held Sun. from the Catholic
Church.

Lonzo- At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chas. Simono, April 17, 1902 of
old age, Frank Lonzo, aged 85 years. Mr. Lonzo was born in the Province
Quebec in 1817 and came to this place in 1838 being among the first
white settlers. He engaged in fishing for many years and was always
regarded as an honest and industrious man. He was a most consistent and
devoted member of the Catholic Church and for many years was a sexton of
the Catholic Cemetery here. He was a most loveable man and earned the
good will and esteem of all with whom he came in contact. His funeral
took place from St. Luke's church last Sunday afternoon.
