Noah Edgar Baker, 69 of Lutesville, died Friday in a hospital in Cape Girardeau.

A retired carpenter, Mr. Baker was born near Lutesville June 10, 1903; the son of Thomas Baker and Mary 'Susie' Susan (Wariner) Baker.

On July 19, 1924 he married Miss Ruth Murphy who preceded him in death in 1962.

He married Mrs. Delphia (Gaines) Myers on November 27, 1964 and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dale and Thomas, both of Festus, MO; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Schierberg and Mrs. Wanda Davis, both of St. Louis, MO; a stepson, Rev. Lenzie Myers of Zalma, MO; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ethel Myers of Zalma, MO; two brothers, Charles of Lutesville, MO; and Frank of Ashkum, IL; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Chapel services were Sunday at Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville. Burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
