Daniel Mark Schultz, age 68, passed away on the morning of July 4th, 2015, at home where he resided with his loving wife Lynn (Charles) Schultz.
Dan was born May 13, 1947, in LeMars, Iowa, the third of seven children of Ivan and Blanche (Van Peursem) Schultz, and in 1950 he moved with his family to their farm in Swanville, Minnesota.
He attended Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, Receiving a B.A. in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and Coaching Certificates. Spanning his teaching/coaching career were positions at Oak-land Junior High, Stillwater, MN, Williams/Baudette, MN and 18 years at St. Croix Falls Middle School, St Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
Dan was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Stacie Renae; his older brother Larry; nephew Bradley; brother-in-law Pete Kircher; sister-in-law Janice Hanson and his parents, Ivan and Blanche.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Lynn; sons Aaron, Center City and Jason, Center City, MN; brothers, Ron (Jeanne), Merrill, IA, John (Sandee), Cambridge, MN, Tim (Peter) St. Paul, MN, Charlie (Jill), Swanville, and his sister, Cindy Kircher, Burtram, MN; sisters-in-law, LaVern (LeRoy) Nelson, Burtrum, MN; Nancy Friberg, St. Paul, MN. Eve (Jerry) Lunzer, Lindstrom; brothers-in-law Fred (Cheryl) Charles and George Hanson and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Grandstrand Funeral Home, 11900 Lake Lane North, Lindstrom, MN 55045. Funeral service Wednesday, July 8, at 1 PM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 37515 Park Trail, Almelund, MN 55001.
Interment Hillside Cemetery, Center City, MN 55012, with a luncheon afterwards at the church.
