Lindell was 78 when he died.
Services were at Elmwood Baptist Church.
Burial was at Elmwood Memorial Park directed by Elliot-Hamil Funeral Home.
Lindell graduated from Abilene High School and was a WW 2 Vet.
He worked as an equipment mechanic for the National Guard from the 40's until 1971.
Lindell was a very kind man. I never saw him mad. He loved going to garage sales and second hand stores. He bought me an old used dryer back in 1984. It is now 2006 and we still use that same dryer and he bought it USED :=)
Lindell and Jewel never could have children but they helped raise Jim Grady Claxton's daughter, Darlene.
I adored them both.
