Dick Te Slaa, who died very suddenly Thursday, May 6, 1948, was born in The Netherlands on December 7, 1895, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Berend Te Slaa.
The family came to America in 1911.
Dick Te Slaa was married to Florence Annema of Perkins in 1925, who now survives him with the six children, Bernard, Raymond, Edith, Marvin, LeRoy, and Norma Jean.
Also surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Heyerman, Mrs. A. Harsmanhof, both of Grand Rapids, Mich., Mrs. Albert Meendering, Mrs. Jake Plazier, all Hull, and Wilma Te Slaa who teaches in New Jersey.
Funeral services were held on Monday, May 10, at the Christian Reformed Church in Doon. Burial was in the Hull Cemetery. Rev. Beute of Inwood conducted the service.
