Glenna Louise Rupp Lewis, 80, passed away April 2, 2012 in Orlando, FL. Born June 7, 1931 to Ignatius and Mary Rupp of Ellis, KS.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard David Lewis.
Glenna worked as a Registered Nurse in Orlando, retiring several years ago. She spent much of her retirement years volunteering services to Vitas, a hospice care organization and was an active member of the St. John Vianney choir. She had a very large circle of family and friends with whom she kept in close contact throughout her entire life.
She is survived by her children, David Lewis and girlfriend Eileen Smith, Daniel Lewis and his wife Beth, Karen Rascati and her husband Joseph, Keith Lewis and his wife Hwai Ling, and Chris Lewis who was predeceased by his wife Teri, along with six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings John Rupp and his wife Arlene, Sister Marilyn Rupp ASC, Anita Rupp Gilmore and her husband Walt Gilmore, her sister-in-law Carol Rupp (the widow of Roger Rupp) and Tim Rupp and his wife Terri, and predeceased by her brother Brian.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 10, 12:00 noon at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6200 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL.
