Suffolk - Timothy Alan Pope, 21, passed away April 9, 2012. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of Lisa Babb Pope and Samuel Todd Pope, Sr. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Josephine Babb and Clayton Pope. He was in the U.S. Army Reserves and a member of Providence United Methodist Church. He was active in the Kings Fork Ruritan Club and loved Anime.
Along with his parents he is survived by his fiancé, Kristianna M. Clark; son, Joseph James Pope; sister, Samantha R. Pope; brothers, S. Todd Pope, Jr. and wife, Amy, Andrew W. Pope; numerous nieces and nephews; grandparents, Daisy Bell Carr Pope and Frank Babb; and numerous aunts and uncles.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Roger D. Johnson officiating. Friends may join the family for a visitation Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to CHKD at P.O. Box 2156, Norfolk, VA 23501.
