Mrs. Katie Nell Brann, 82, of Union City passed away 2:05 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brann will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Dr. Melvin Poe will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery in Mayfield, Ky.
Visitation will be at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
Pallbearers will be Eric Brann, Matthew Morrison, Brian Perkins, Bob James, Jimmy Webb and Gary Weaks.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darell Fuqua, Gene Clark, Glynn Williams, Wesley Thompson, Marvin Kennemore and Billy Don Clark.
Mrs. Brann was born February 28, 1933, in Graves County, Ky., daughter of the late Alex “Bud” and Lorena (Whitlow) Clark.
She married Walter Leon Brann May 23, 1952. He survives.
She was a cook for the Union City School System and a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member of Faith Sunday School class.
She is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kathy Brann of Union City; one granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Rachel and Matthew Morrison of Smyrna, Tn. and a grandson, Eric Brann of Smyrna, Tn.
She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
