The funeral of Edwin Levere the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Connick was held from the home Saturday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Richard W. Gentry of the First Christian church. He preached a comforting sermon from the text "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
Miss Ruth Williams and Mrs. George Jenkins sang "Asleep in Jesus" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
Edwin Levere was 4 years, 4 months and 4 days old at the time of death. Interment was made in union cemetery.
