Services for Brian D. Curtis, 16, of McCausland, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McGinnis, Chambers and Sass Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
Brian died Monday after two-vehicle accident near Long Grove.
He was a sophomore at North Scott High School, Eldridge. He also was employed at Ed Wallace's Concession Stand at local fairs during vacations and weekends.
He was active in the youth group at McCausland United Methodist Church and played center field for a baseball team in the Eldridge area. Brian had earned the nickname of "Wheels" and hoped one day to be a professional baseball player.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Thomas Farley, McCausland; and his father and stepmother, William and Ann Curtis, Maquoketa; sisters, Angela and Teresa, both of McCausland; and grandmothers, Rosanna Ploog, McCausland; and Hazel Curtis, Rock Island.
