Bonnie Jean Ferree, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in Louisville, Ky. She was born May 5, 1926 in Laconia, Indiana to Stoy and Myrtle Funk Anderson.
She attended Smith Campground United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clyde Ferree, son, Jeffrey Ferree, two infant sons, a brother, Maurice "Sonny" Anderson and a sister, Helen Haas.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce Ferree (Beth) of Elizabeth, IN. and Dennis Ferree of Laconia, IN. a daughter-in-law, Mary Bachman Ferree Walter (Jim) of Lanesville, IN and four grandchildren, Amanda Ferree of New Albany, IN. Greg Ferree (Brittany) of Sellersburg, IN, Tasha Boel (Klaus) of Louisville, KY, Scott Ferree of Elizabeth, IN. and two great grandchildren, Hudson & Remington Ferree.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, at 12:00 noon at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. Pastor Charles Pelc will officiate.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 5 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Monday from 9:00 AM until 12 Noon at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery in Laconia, Indiana.
The family suggests memorial donations to honor Bonnie's life be made to either Rehoboth Cemetery or Smith Campground Cemetery.
