Funeral services were to be held at the Martin & Castille Funeral Home at 3 p.m. today for Mrs Clovis A. B. Prejean, 78, the former Athenaise Broussard, who died at her residence on 123 Voorhies St. after an extended illness at 12:01 a.m. yesterday.
Internment was to be held in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, William Prejean of Hollywood, La. and Ellie Prejean of Beaumont, Tx.; two daughters, Mrs Yvonne Fritz of Houston, Tx. and Mrs Alcee Pothier of Lafayette, La.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Anna Faulk of Abbeville, Mrs Helen Faulk, and Mrs Celeste Guillot, both of Kaplan.
Mrs Prejean, a native of LeRoy, was the daughter of the late Bruno Broussard and Athenaise Broussard, both natives of Lafayette Parish. She has been a resident of Lafayette for the past 35 years.
