Jason was born March 15, 1972 to Michael Melvin Wheeler and Paula (Fox) McDougall. His father, Michael; and paternal grandparents, Melvin and Patricia Wheeler, preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memory are: his life-partner, whom he was planning to marry, Carl Lichnerowicz of Sturgis; mother, Paula McDougall of Grand Haven, MI; sister, Courtnie (Nathan) Turpin of West Olive, MI; and two beloved cats, Mickey and Baby.
Jason was a certified mechanic at Tom Naquin Chevrolet in Elkharrt. He was passionate about being a mechanic and spent a lot of time at home working on his many Cameros, which he loved since a small boy. He was a gifted gardener, and it’s quite apparent when seeing his house. Jason was the quiet guy at a party who would observe, capture the perfect photo without you even knowing he was doing it and made everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. He was funny, kind, polite and loved his partner more than anything. They had a great life together, traveled many places and especially loved going on cruises. He left this world too soon and his passing leaves a void in the hearts of many.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 10th from 4-7PM at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR23, Granger, IN, enter off Cherry Rd.
