SHIRLEY DARNALL, 78, of Benton, KY passed away at 2:58AM, Saturday, July 4, 2015 at her home.
Shirley was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church, and had sang Gospel music for many years with her distinctive, powerful voice. She and her husband had retired, working many years for the Marshall County Fiscal Court.
She is survived by his her husband, Henry “Henny” Darnall of Benton, KY; one daughter, Vicki Schwegman of Benton, KY; two sons, Larry Darnall and Mickey Darnall both of Benton, KY; one sister, Jerrice Ross of Benton, KY; three brothers, Beau West of Leesburg, FL, Michael West and Charles West both of Benton, KY; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Mason West and Robbie Lee Lassiter West.
Services: Funeral services will be at 2:00PM, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Chapel. Bro. Mike Littrell and Bro. Joel Frizzell will officiate and burial will follow in the Haymes Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5:00PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
