Thomas M. Olsen, 71, of Pflugerville, died Saturday, June 17, 2000, at a Round Rock hospital.
Mr. Olsen was a retired Captain with the Austin Police Department. He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, a Mason and a Shriner.
Survived by wife, Carolyn Olsen, of the home; two brothers, William C. "Bill" Olsen of Bastrop. Texas and Wylie Olsen. A brother, John Olsen, predeceased him.
A visitation will be on Monday, June 19, 2000, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at 1:00 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society, the Pflugerville Library or the Shriners Hospital in Houston.
