Dora Lou Campbell, 80, of Marshall, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at The Living Center in Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall. Rev. Gene Ekstrand will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robert Campbell, Dave Howard, Mike Deal, Maurice Campbell, Jim Crusha and Joe Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Fornshell, Herschel Fornshell, Eric Smith and Greg Adams. Visitation will be from 3 until 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery in Nelson. Memorials are suggested to Nelson Cemetery. Born Aug. 25, 1924, in Urbana, she was the daughter of the late Louis Monroe Adams and Stella Mae Farrell Adams. On June 19, 1943, she married Elmo "Doc" Campbell, who preceded her in death Oct. 23, 1989. She had lived in Nelson most of her life, and worked at ConAgra Frozen Foods and Toastmaster. She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Nelson. Survivors include two daughters, Lula Fornshell of Nelson and Carol Adams of Marshall; one son, Tim Campbell of Boonville; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and seven sisters.
