Obituary for Mr. Hardy David Taylor
Mr. Hardy D. Taylor, age 84 of Panacea, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015. A lifelong Wakulla County resident, Mr. Taylor was a retired county landfill operator. He enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, and was a "collector" of many things. He loved helping his neighbors, attending church, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his nephew and caregiver: Buddy (Heidi) Taylor of Panacea; step-daughter: Frances of Tallahassee and sister Sarah of Washington; one grandchild and one great grandchild. Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife: Myrtle Taylor; parents: Gilbert and Mary Taylor; brothers: Henry Taylor, Monroe Taylor, James Taylor, and Ernest Taylor; and sisters: Lois Pyles, Edith Tucker, and Mary Jane Renner. Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Panacea Cemetery with Elder Bruce Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL 904-259-4600.
