Gail L. Bryant (nee Thornton) It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Gail L. Bryant, she passed into Eternal Life on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet at the age of 77 years.
Born in Aurora, IL to the late John Thornton and Beth (nee Salisbury) Thornton. Beloved Wife of the late Edwin H. Bryant; cherished Mother of the late Edwin H. Bryant Jr., John (Teresa) Bryant, Timothy (Gwen) Bryant, Kenneth Bryant, Evelynn (Doug) Clark, Michele (Robert Sr.) White and Eva Jackson. Proud and adoring Grandmother of many; dear Sister of Karen (Jerry) Anderson, Gary (the late Linda) Thornton, Roger (Sandy) Thornton, the late Dennis Thornton and Darlene (the late Todd) Thornton. Also left to mourn; numerous nieces, nephews, and Lily, Gail's beloved canine friend.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin H. Bryant; one son, Edwin H. Bryant Jr.; sister in law, Linda Thornton; and one brother, Todd Thornton.
Gail was a proud homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed nature and the outdoors, birdwatching and was particularly fond of growing beautiful flowers. Through Her a little more love and goodness, a little more light and truth came into this world and we are grateful that she was our loving mother, grandmother, wonderful sister, aunt and loyal friend.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bryant will be at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at The Maple Funeral Home located at 24300 W. Ford Rd., Channahon with Pastor Steve Good Officiating. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home in Channahon on Tuesday, July 7th from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at Noon.
