Austin Dotson, son of Johnny and Nettie Dotson was born in Cedar county, March 12 1872 and departed this life at his home with Mr. & Mrs. Fred O'Neal, near Stockton, on Sept. 12, 1944, being 72 year 6 months of age.
He was converted when a young man and united with the Baptist church when a young man, later uniting with the Pentecostal faith to which he remained faithful until he was called away by the Master. He often testified as being saved, sanctified and baptised with the Holy Ghost.
He spent his entire life in Cedar county except for a few short visits in Oklahoma.
He leases to mourn his departure one sister, Mrs. A E Bolin and family in Bartlesville, OK and many nieces and nephews and many friends who will sadly miss his passing to the Great Beyond, but our loss is heavens gain.
