Married Daisy Belle Carder, daughter of James Monro Carder and Mary Ann Beaupre, on 22 December, 1886, St Thomas, Elgin, Ontario, Canada.
Father of: Daisy Caryl, Florence Marie, Juliette Hephzibah, Albert Carder, Harriet H., William Harold, Earnest C. and Edward Carder Ames.
Graduate of the Univeristy of Toronto.
Mathmatics master at St. Thomas Collegiate Institution for 6 years.
