Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Charles Perkins, a son Richard E. Perkins and four sisters, Juanita Wilson (Al), Kathleen Nation (George), Evelyn Godwin (Waymon), and Bonnie Jean Bean.
The Lord and her family were most important to Hazel. She was a faithful member of Marble Missionary Baptist Church. Even after her health prevented her from attending church service, she tried to make sure to check on other members of her church family by phone. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Granny, sister, aunt and friend. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She was also a very fierce Razorback fan prior to her decline in health.
