Mrs. Walsh was born April 19, 1955, in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine (Rosa) DiMaria. She was employed as a medical coding compliance specialist at UConn Health Center. Prior to that, Pamela managed Dr. Anthony Sterling's medical practice for 25 years and later for Dr. Neil Miller.
Taking care of her family was her main priority in life and she took great pride in her family. She was a caring and thoughtful person who was willing to help anyone in any way she could.
Besides her husband, James, she is survived by her son, Joseph Walsh, and her daughters, Alison and Lindsay Walsh, all of Prospect; her sister, Carmella Swan of Naugatuck; her brother, Michael DiMaria and his wife, Claudette, of Cheshire; her mother and father-in-law, John and Jean Walsh of Middlebury; and two sisters-in-law, Kathleen Gentile and her husband, Thomas, of Waterbury, and Eileen Lemay and her husband, Reale, of Watertown.
Pamela's passions included UConn Women's Basketball and making her famous homemade meatballs. She was always happiest when she was with her family, whether it was shopping and getting pedicures with her daughters or cheering loudly at her son's baseball games. Her favorite place to be was Aruba on family vacations, watching the sunset with her feet in the sand.
