Caroline “Sue” Lewis, 72, of Bluffton passed away at 12:09 a.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Signature Healthcare in Bluffton.

Sue was born on July 21, 1942 in Wells County to William Whitacre and Louise (Odell) High. She attended Petroleum High School. She worked at CTS in Berne for 27 years retiring in 1991. She also worked in a few restaurants and snack shops.

In 1964 Sue married Elmer Bower and he passed away in 1995. On March 10, 1996 she married Marvin Lewis and he preceded her in death in 2008.

Sue is survived by six children; William Bower of Bluffton, Patricia (Greg) Sord of Kentucky, Cathy Todd of Warsaw, Alan Bower of Fort Wayne, Melvin Bower of California and Doug (Dawn) Lewis of Bluffton.

Friends and family will gather to remember Sue from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday (July 11, 2015) at the Bluffton Moose Lodge. Memorials may be made in Sue’s memory to Life Community Church through the funeral home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
