Patricia A. "Pat" Webster Copeland, 77, of Hanover, died March 10, 2015, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover.

She was born March 16, 1937, near Hanover, to Curtis and Mildred Nell Royce Webster. She was a 1955 graduate of Hanover High School. She worked early in life at Pearson's Grocery. She later worked in the Custom Drapery Department with Mill's Department Store. She was a member of the Kent Christian Church. She enjoyed caring for her family, her pets, gardening and raising flowers.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Copeland of Carmel and Timothy Copeland of Madison; two sisters, Lois Liter of Lexington and Mary Blaney of Hanover; two brothers, Dennis Webster of Sebring, Fla., and David Webster of Jensen Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. "Brownie" Copeland, whom she married June 4, 1954, and who died Dec. 28, 2007; her parents; two sisters, June Yvonne Webster and Linda Carol Webster; and two brothers, James Webster and Robert "Bob" Webster

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or the Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.
