Memorial services for Michele Anna Garner, 63, of Palestine will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at First Christian Church in Palestine with Rev. Jordan Byrd officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Mrs. Garner passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Palestine Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 14, 1948, in South Dakota to Albert and Ruth Broz Klein.
She had lived in Palestine the past 20 years coming from Corsicana.
She worked as a bookkeeper and accountant.
She "knew Bill" and was a Christian.
Survivors include her husband, Coleman (Curly) Garner of Palestine; father, Albert Klein and wife Irish of Pensacola, FL; 2 brothers, George Klein and wife Judy of Portland, OR and Malcom Klein and wife Laura of Park Hills, KY; niece, Amy Randal and husband Commander Bryyan Randal of the U.S. Navy; and 2 special friends, Roxanne McCormick and Susan Shannon.
A luncheon will be provided at the church prior to the service at 11:30 a.m. for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Christian Church, 113 E. Crawford Street, Palestine, TX 75801.
