Other than his parents, Greely was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: Charlie Witt, Leonard Witt, Dave Witt, Joe Witt, Wilson Witt, Stanley Witt Dona Rose, Jane Cunagin and Vane Miller.
Greely was blessed with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Greely was a member of the Sand Gap Christian Church.
Funeral services for Greely Witt were held on Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home in McKee, Elder Gerald Maupin officiating. Burial followed in the Maupin Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were: Frank Witt, Anthony Witt, Roger Witt, Mike Witt, Hershel Maupin and Owen Lakes. Honorary pallbearers were: Clarence Brockman, Donnie Hensley, Gene Hensley, Carl Brockman, Leonard "Bill" Witt, and Earl Morris.
