Janice was the daughter of Dorothea B Kummerow and Mitchel B Catanzaro though his identity remained a secret until DNA results in 2014 revealed the truth. At the age of two she moved with her mother to Clinton, Iowa. She was raised in the home with her stepfather, Ernest Riedel Burlingame and simply took his last name which was quite common in those days. In 1949 she married Calvin J Bundy to which 2 daughters were born, Marsha Lynn and Eileen Gail. In 1956 she married Arthur F Krebs to which 2 more daughters were born, Lisa Ellen and Julie Marie. They divorced in 1966. In 1970 she married Nathan Martin Wallace. All 3 preceded her in death. She worked for Bell Telephone and Mercy Hospital in Clinton, Iowa and for Blessing Hospital, Meals Plus for Seniors and the State of Illinois in Quincy, Illinois. She has one brother, Larry David Burlingame( Mary).
