BATESVILLE - Howard Thomas Allen, S5, retired Mississippi Highway Department employee, died Tuesday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of United Family Service with burial in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Catherine Allen; three daughters, Miss Phyllis Annette Allen and Mrs. Vickey Lynn Gray, both of Batesville, and Mrs. Pamela Dale James of Memphis; three sisters, Mrs. Della Prestige of Lambert, Mrs. Idell Simmons of Apalachicola, Fla., and Mrs. Kay Pittman of Batesville; two brothers, O. C. Allen of Bronson, Texas, and Bill Allen of Batesville, and a granddaughter.
