Beverly June Mason, 83, Pattonsburg, MO passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2015 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
She was born August 31, 1931 in Tabor, Iowa the daughter of Jack and Goldie (Stafford) Rice. She was a long time resident of Pattonsburg where she attended school and graduated in the class of 1950. Beverly always enjoyed attending the Pattonsburg High School Alumni Annual dinners to visit with fellow classmates.
On January 5, 1952, she married Walter Daniel Mason in Maysville, MO. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2000.
Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family above all else. Beverly worked at the Pattonsburg Cap Factor as a seamstress for 35 years. She enjoyed her hobbies of quilt making, crocheting and crafts. Beverly’s lifelong interest in local history led to her longtime membership of the Pattonsburg Genealogy Association. She was instrumental in conducting research and participating in many fund raising activities for the benefit of the Association.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 49 years, Walter, and cherished granddaughter, Seasons Leann Mason.
Survivors include her sons, Walter Daniel (Victoria) Mason and Ronnie Lee (Shelley) Mason and four grandchildren, Shanna, Matt, Tyler and Shelby.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3 at Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, MO. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, McFall, MO.
