Carol J. Bowman, 67, of Frazeysburg,Ohio died Sunday evening, May 10, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. Born May 22, 1947 in Newark, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Harold and Alice(Willey)Bodoh and was a 1965 graduate of Newark High School. Carol retired from Gen esis Hospice where she was a health care aid and she was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Zanesville.
She was a former member of the Frazeysburg Volunteer Fire Department where she served many years as an E.M.T. She loved the outdoors, especially flower gardening and she was an avid collector of angels.
Surviving is her husband Gary Bowman of Frazeysburg; two daughters, Beth Bowman of Frazeysburg and Samantha (Robby) Bishop; a granddaughter, Ariah Bishop; one brother, William (Jan) Bodoh of Blufton, South Carolina; six sisters; Evelyn (Les) Ragan and Sue(Ray) Yearsley, both of the Villages, Florida, Molly Belli of Union, Kentucky, Karen (Don)Green of Nashport, Vicki (Bill) Cochran of Terre Haute, Indiana and Joy Bodoh of Tampa Florida; her very special friend, Francis Preston of Frazeysburg and several nieces , nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Mitz Belli.
