Mr. Matthew Bradshaw was born in Lane, SC to the late Annie McCutcheon and the late William Bradshaw on May 12, 1930. He was the fourth child of eleven children. He was educated in Williamsburg County School System and was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was married to Dorothy McClary and to this union one was born. Matthew was a hard worker and a kind person. He worked for Hawthorne Packing Company for Fifty plus years as a Foreman.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: a loving and devoted wife, Dorothy Bradshaw; daughter, Jackie Gamble and Joan McClary (whom he reared); nine grandchildren, Hakim, Keoshia, Kersie, Quinton, Sharonich, Michael, Matthew, Sayonia and Pondera; great—grandchildren, Kryrine and Shirenity; two brothers, Ransome (Mary) Bradshaw and Christopher (Mary) Bradshaw; a host of other relatives and friends.
