Ronnie Beck, age 49, of Cottondale, graduated from this life at the age of 49 on July 1, 2015 to be with his Lord and Savior.
He graduated from Holt High School, where he was in many special olympics and won many trophies and medals.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2015 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bill Rayburn, Norman Parrish, and Scott McCown officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Ronnie leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his parents, Leon and Helen Beck of Cottondale; one brother, Terry Beck of Cottondale; one sister, Annette Pogue (Phillip) of Northport; special grandmother Christine Clements of Grady, Ala.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Phillip, Chase and Matthew Pogue, Jay Fife, Dan Byrd and Scott Trimm.
Honorary pallbearers will be Central Church of Christ and local churches of Christ, friends of Norris Circle, Dr. David Hinton and staff at the Manderson Cancer Center, Dr. William Pridgen, Minnie Turner, Pricilla Hinton, Vera Reed, Hospice of West Alabama, and the staff that graced our home during our angel, Ronnie's, long battle with cancer, Albert Goodmand, Joan Maddox, Bryan and Melissa Wilson, Keith and Sherry Foshee, Dan and Tiran Byrd, Scott, Tammy and Judd Trimm, Tommy and Nancy Fitts, Jerry Wesson and Daphne Pate.
Flowers will be accepted but contributions can be made to the building fund at Central Church of Christ or one's favorite charity.
