IVA BELL BOSWELL, daughter of W. C. and HELEN RHODES, was born Nov. 10, 1906 in Decatur County, Iowa and died Nov. 26, 1983 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to ALFRED BOSWELL on Dec. 24, 1928. To this union were born three children: two sons and a daughter.

BELL was a graduate of the Lamoni High School and was a rural school teacher for many years. She was an active member of the R. L. D. S. Church in Davis City and the McAllen, Texas branch. ALFRED and BELLE spent most of their married life farming in and around Davis City, Iowa. During the last nine years of their marriage they enjoyed their winter home in McAllen. After ALFRED’s death, BELLE returned to McAllen for three winters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; daughter-in-law; and granddaughter.

Surviving are two sons; daughter; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; sister; nieces, nephews and friends.

[Interment was made in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Davis City, Iowa.]
