Delton Ray (Duke) Boyd 71, of Picayune, passed away June 30, 2015.

Mr. Boyd was born Aug. 6, 1943 in Lawrence County, Mississippi to his parents, J.C. & Geree Dunaway Boyd. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, resident of Picayune for thirty-one years and was in the oil field construction industry. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeanette Boyd; one son, Jason Boyd, and two brothers, Billy C. Boyd, and Paul Edward Boyd.

Survived by three sons, Bo (Marie) Stinson of Litttlefield, Texas, Gerald (Leslie) Malbrough of Colton, Oregon and Jason Boyd and Faith McCorkle of Central Louisiana; one daughter, Angel (Joe) Bennett of Carriere; two brothers, Bobby (Sue) Boyd of Marietta, Georgia, Tim (Debbie) Boyd of Jackson, MS; three sisters, Mary Alice (Jerry) Kitchens of Seminary, MS, Jessie Easley and Buddy Boren of Zachary, LA, Anita (Donnie) Comeaux of Brandon, MS; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grands; numerous foster grands and greats; many nieces and nephews; and special companion, Bobbie Shute.
