Mrs. Lawrence Moritz nee Gladys Frances Shirley of Kerrville, Texas, passed away at her residence on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007 at the age of 83 years.
Gladys Moritz is survived by one daughter and spouse, Karen and Bryan Griffin of Kerrville; two grandsons, Heath and his wife Mary Griffin and Erik Griffin; one great grandson, Zackary Griffin; one brother and spouse, Gerald and Esther Shirley of Kerrville; one brother in law, Max Moritz of Ojai, California; and three sisters in law, Mrs. Maxine Matthews of Abilene, Mrs. Ruth Ottmers of San Antonio and Mrs. Josie Moritz of Fredericksburg.
Vigil services will be held on Monday evening at 7 p.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Deacon Pat Klein officiating.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, with Father Tony Vilano officiating.
Graveside services and Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Notre Dame Catholic Church, or to the charity of their choice.
Visitation for Gladys Moritz will begin Monday afternoon at 5 p.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
