Edwin Reid Towler, age 94, formerly of Chatham, died July 1, 2015 at Roman Eagle Memorial Home in Danville. He was born on October 5, 1920, in Pittsylvania County, son of Samuel Joseph Towler and Woodruth Nuckols Towler. He was a member of Hollywood Baptist Church and farmed all his life. He is survived by a brother, James Wilson Towler. Burial will be at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery.
