Rita E. Age 67, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Flemington, NJ, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Coral Oaks Assisted Living Facility in Palm Harbor, FL. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided in Flemington, NJ most her life until moving to Clearwater in 1982. She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Hampton in 1998. They owned Hampton's Dodge, Chrysler & Plymouth in Flemington. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hampton of Clearwater, FL; her son, John T. "Jack" Hampton of Elmira, NY; her brothers, Harry and John Wormkey, both of Ringoes, NY; her sisters, Anna Poland of PA, and Mary Weeks of NJ; and her granddaughters, Madison, age four, and Mackenzie, age two, Hampton. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2006, in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, FL 33759, (727) 796-1992.
