With over forty two years of teaching, Peggy retired for the second time this past spring from Harnett County Schools where she was a teacher and also was an assistant principal. She was a member of the Literary Review Book Club, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, two bridge clubs and several other organizations in the community. She was a member of Bethesda Friends Meeting Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Warren of Erwin, a daughter, Scarlett and husband Stan of Raleigh, a son-in-law, James Tart of Mills River, a brother, Billy Hawley of Fayetteville, two sisters, Betty Jackson of Dunn, Basha Lewis of Fayetteville, three grandchildren, Gavin Tart, Casey and Mason Godwin.
The family invites you to come and visit them at her home 1103 Warren Rd. Monday thru Wednesday.
