Mrs. Harriet "Sue" Scott

Heavenly Angels welcomed their newest Angel, Harriet Eloise “Sue” Scott on June 30, 2015 at age 85.

Sue was born in Toronto, Ohio to Harry and Ellen Blackburn with three older siblings. Sue’s life path took her to Phoenix, AZ where she met and married the love of her life, A. Merle “Scotty” Scott in 1970.

Scotty (age 97) survives Sue, along with three stepchildren, John M. (Lucy) Scott who resides in Colorado; Kathy A. (Robert) Turner who resides in Arizona; and Michael F. Scott who resides in Alabama. Their six grandchildren along with their seven great-grandchildren will fondly remember Granny Susie forever.

Sue and Scotty loved to go camping and fishing while enjoying all the great sights Arizona had to offer. When Scotty retired they moved to Prescott, AZ where they enjoyed semi-retirement by frequent visits from their grandsons and granddaughters. Then they decided to move to Colorado to enjoy life with their son John’s family. With a final move to Dothan, Alabama, they lived a fulfilling life at Baptist Village with frequent visits from their son Mike and their youngest grandson.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Memory Hill Cemetery.
